- Mary Lou MOORE, a daughter of Anna Pierce and Lee Moore, was born 27 February 1906 in Emanuel County, Georgia. She was named as a daughter, aged 5 years, in her parents? household in the 1910 Emanuel County census and aged 13 years in the 1920 census. She also was listed as a surviving daughter in her father?s 1946 obituary and in her mother?s 1957 obituary. In addition, she was named as a surviving sister in George Beauford Moore?s 1955 obituary, in Virgil Fred Moore?s 1966 obituary, in Alma Moore Wells 1983 obituary, in James Lester Moore?s 1985 obituary, and in Henry C. Moore?s 1986 obituary.
She married Lundie Sutton in Emanuel County on 1 September 1923. Lundie was born 28 July 1902.
They were residents of Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia, in 1955.
They were recorded in the 1930 Candler County census as follows: Lundy Sutton, head, rents home, lived on a farm, age 26, age 21 when first married, born in Georgia, parents born in Georgia, could read and write, farmer, general farm, not a veteran; Mary L., wife, house keeper, age 24, age 18 when first married, born in Georgia, parents born in Georgia, could read and write; Alberta, daughter, age 6, born in Georgia, parents born in Georgia, could read and write; and, Louise, daughter, age 4, born in Georgia, parents born in Georgia.
They had two daughters:
i. Alberta SUTTON
ii. Aubrey Louise SUTTON
Lundie died 15 June 1952 at his home near Twin City and was buried at Antioch Church Cemetery, Emanuel County.
Mary Lou died 1 March 1988 in Emanuel County, and was buried beside her husband at Antioch Church Cemetery.

Swainsboro, Ga., June 15 ? Lundie Sutton died suddenly this morning at his residence, RFD 1, near Twin City, Ga.
Mr. Sutton who was 49 years old at the time of his death, had been a farmer in the Twin City area for a number of years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Lou Sutton, mother, Mrs. Florence Sutton; two daughters, Mrs. Leon Thorne and Mrs. Carlton Cowart; one brother, Rufus Sutton, all of Twin City; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 4 p.m. at the Antioch Primitive Baptist church with the Rev. Dent and Elder Rollie Riner officiating. Interment will be in the Antioch cemetery.
The active pallbearers will be Mr. Sutton?s cousins: Bobbie Sutton, Troy Edenfield, Clinton Sutton, Robbie Edenfield, Claude Sutton and F. B. Robison.
The honorary pallbearers will be Gus Watson, John E. Morgan, W. A. Humphrey, Ed Fordham, Herbert Humphrey, Robert Rowland, George Donaldson and C. L. Welch.

Mrs. Mary Lou Moore Sutton, 82
Twin City ? Mrs. Mary Lou Moore Sutton, 82, died Tuesday in Emanuel County Hospital after a long illness.
The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. today (Wednesday) from Twin City First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Gene Sago officiating, assisted by the Rev. Richard Hoard. Burial will be in Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Sutton was a native of Emanuel County. She was a retired homemaker and a member of Twin City United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Alberta Rountree and Mrs. Louise Smith, both of Twin City; four sisters, Mrs. Esther Bell of Twin City, Mrs. Veda Turner of Canoochee and Mrs. Annie Mae Woods of Swainsboro and Mrs. Pauline Edenfield of Metter; a brother, Earl Moore of Savannah; two grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Moore, Bobby Edenfield, Donald Wells, Luther Bell, Johnny Wells, Jerry Edenfield, Johnson Turner and Tommy Gene Woods.
Peebles-Curry Mortuary of Swainsboro had charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Mary Lou Sutton placed a lovely Easter lily and floral arrangement in loving memory of her husband, Lundy Sutton, in the Methodist Sanctuary Sunday.

Mary Lou Sutton was hostess to her sister, Esther and Malcolm Bell, brother Buster and Lucille Moore of Twin City, also sister Pauline and R. J. Edenfield of Route 2, Metter, and sister Alma Wells and niece Sara of Metter at her home on Saturday evening. Since a long illness, it made her happy to have three sisters, a niece, and brother with their families again.
They made family pictures and enjoyed ice cream and cake after a delicious dinner.
