    Notes
    • Eloise Elvira BOATRIGHT, a daughter of Lizzy Mae Turner and Henry Brinson Boatright, was born 19 February 1919 in Emanuel County, Georgia. She was named as a daughter, aged 11 months, in her parents' household in the 1920 Emanuel County census and as age 11 years in the 1930 census. She also was named as a surviving daughter in her mother?s 1955 obituary. In addition, she was named as a surviving sister in William E. "Billie" Boatright's 1936 obituary, Harold H. Boatright's 1972 obituary, Jack E. Boatright's 1990 obituary, Juanita Salley Boatright Adler's 1992 obituary, and John Stephen Boatright's 2007 obituary.

She married Oliver Wright Doolittle, son of Luna Augustus Wright and Oliver Bletz Doolittle, in Aiken, South Carolina on 5 April 1939. He was born 3 January 1911 in Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia. They resided at 315 Walker Street, Augusta in 1939 and 1940. The 1939 Augusta City directory indicated that they had one child. Oliver was an attendant at Two States Service Station. They still were living on Walker Street in 1941, but Oliver?s occupation was listed as a shipping clerk with H. H. Claussen?s Sons. The 1941 Augusta City directory indicated that they had two children. By 1946 they were residing at 239-1/2 Telfair and Oliver was an employee at Camp Gordon.

Oliver became a jailer for the Richmond County Sheriff?s Department about 1945 and later became Superintendent. He worked in that position until his retirement.

Eloise was active in the Order of the Eastern Star and Oliver participated as a worthy patron.

      They had three children:

      i. Harold Wright DOOLITTLE
      ii. Dora Annette DOOLITTLE
      iii. Vicki Grace DOOLITTLE

Oliver died 28 October 1992 at his home in Augusta and was buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Eloise died in Augusta on 23 December 2007 and was buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park beside Oliver.
