    • Eva Belle FAIRCLOTH, a daughter of Mary Etta Ridgdill and James Louis Faircloth, was born on 12 September 1893 in Emanuel County, Georgia. She was named as a daughter, aged 7 years, in her parents' household in the 1900 Emanuel County census, and aged 18 years in the 1910 Montgomery County Census.

      She married Allen W. Thomas on 17 May 1911 in Toombs County, Georgia. He was born on 5 April 1885 in Pierce County, Georgia, the son of Sarah Kimbrell and Lewis Mixon Thomas.

      Allen registered for the World War I draft on 12 September 1918 in Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia. His registration card provided the following information: Allen W. Thomas; 206 W. Jefferson, Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia; age 33; born 5 April 1885; natural born citizen; salesman, employed by Victor Oil Co., Cleveland, Ohio; nearest relative, Eva B. Thomas of 206 W. Jefferson; signed A. W. Thomas; medium height, medium build, blue eyes, light hair; no physical disabilities; Dublin, Laurens County.

      They were recorded in the 1930 Laurens County census as follows: Allen W. Thomas, head, owned home, home valued at $1450, age 43, married first at age 25, could read and write, born in Georgia, parents born in Georgia, salesman, toilet articles, wage earner, was working at time of the census, was not a veteran; Eva F., wife, housekeeper, age 37, married first at age 19, could read and write, born in Georgia, parents born in Georgia; Miriam Thomas, daughter, age 17, attended school, could read and write, born in Georgia, parents born in Georgia; Kymble, son, age 15, attended school, could read and write, born in Georgia, parents born in Georgia; Veda P., daughter, age 13, attended school, could read and write, born in Georgia, parents born in Georgia; James, son, age 7, attended school, born in Georgia, parents born in Georgia; and, Champ Faircloth, brother-in-law, age 15, attended school, could read and write, born in Georgia, parents born in Georgia.
