    • Ada Bell LAMB, a daughter of Joanna Deal and Patrick P. Lamb, was born in Emanuel County, Georgia on 14 January 1909. She was named as a daughter, aged 1 year and 2 months, in the 1910 Emanuel County census, and as aged 11 years in the 1920 Candler County census. She also was named as a daughter in her father?s will. In addition, she was named as a surviving sister in Rufus Albert Lamb?s 1960 obituary, Alfred Lamb?s 1962 obituary, Lola Lamb Gay?s 1982 obituary, Paul Lamb?s 1989 obituary, and Walter R. Lamb?s 1994 obituary. She was a resident of Statesboro, Bulloch County, Georgia.

      She married Stanmore M. Sparks in Bulloch County on 15 July 1926. He was born on 27 January 1900 in Georgia, a son of Joe Sparks.

      Ada Belle and family were recorded in the 1930 Emanuel County census as follows: Stanman Sparks, head, rented home, $3 rental, lived on a farm, age 30, married first at age 25, could read and write, born in Georgia, parents born in Georgia, laborer, odd jobs, wage earner, was working at time of the census, was not a veteran; Adabel, wife, housekeeper, age 21, married first at age 16, could read and write, born in Georgia, parents born in Georgia; and, Matthew, son, age 2.

      They had five children:

      Stanmore died on 10 January 1957, in Bulloch County, and was buried in Eastside Cemetery, Statesboro.

      Ada died on 14 December 1995 in Bulloch County and also was buried in Eastside Cemetery.
