    • Carrie Inez WILKES, a daughter of Minnie Lee Boatright and George Washington Wilkes, was born on 1 August 1921 in Hahira, Lowndes County, Georgia. She was listed, age 8, as a niece in the household of J. Isham King and his wife, Viola King, in the 1930 Cook County, Georgia census. Viola King was Carrie's grandmother. Also in the household was Minnie Sapp, Carrie's mother.

      Carrie was named as a surviving sister in the 1980 obituary of Grace Lee Wilkes Harris and Carrie also applied for permanent letters of administration upon Grace's estate.

      She married William Luther Hinote on 10 May 1937 in Lee County, Florida. He was born on 3 April 1915 in Florida.

      They lived next door to her mother in a rented house, $4 per month, in Cecil, Georgia when the 1940 Cook County, Georgia census was taken. They were recorded as follows: William L. Hinote, daughter, age 1, born in Georgia.

      Carrie married second Harry Francis Goins on 14 July 1954 in Albany, Dougherty County, Georgia. He was born on 14 July 1921 in Jackson County, Indiana, a son of Fred Alonzo Goins and Elizabeth Castor.

      They had one daughter:

      i. Cheryl GOINS

      William died on 13 May 1979 in Venus, Highlands County, Florida.

      Harry died on 15 December 2000 in Clayton County, Georgia and was buried in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Forest Park, Clayton County.
